Bio

Enstruction is a Dada-Situationist audio production cooperative located in the United States. The group is predicated on the idea that entertainment serves only to distract the individual from the horrific reality of modern society. From the standpoint of the individual, the now pandemic culture of consumerism and mass marketing serves to engender ratification for political aspirations held by an oligarchical elite; yet Enstruction does not produce overtly political material. Rather, it posits a world-view which supports personal individuation from the nihilistic collective known as 'society'. Enstruction has performed live on a number of occasions and it is in a public venue where its philosophy of situationalism is best demonstrated. Or something like that.
